Re: Townsend Camping

Surprised at the comments about this but could not help but notice some of the points too. The free for all pitching everywhere did not work in my opinion, we pitched by the orange barrier in the second field and had it not been for the fact we chose to stay on the campsite on Saturday, I fail to se...

Fairford 16th June- B-1 Heaven!

Hi all, Set the alarm for 2am to get up to Fairford last Friday in time for some Sunrise shots. Well, that did not go to plan and ended up waking up at 3.30am :'( A frantic dash up the A303 and various A-roads got me at Fairford at around 4.55, and by the time I had parked up one of the B-52s took o...

RNAS Yeovilton 8th February

Hi all, Headed to the local as heard a Shadow R1 was playing around the local area. Five minutes after arriving, two F-15E's from Lakenheath performed a fly through, but I absolutely messed up my shots of them. :'( The shadow came and went, so not all was lost, and a Merlin HC3i was doing some work ...

Re: Exercise joint warrior 16/2 and noble arrow

A couple of P-8's, CP-140 and an Atlantique. Portuguese F-16's are expected and Hawks are a possbility for a gas and go - all this at Lossie is what I've heard. I have no details on support aircraft. We must bear in mind that younger aviation enthusiasts may contribute to this forum..before we make...
