On 7th March around 0800LT the Hangardoor went open for a short time.
i managed the read off the code on the nose '278', which makes it a KC-130J 170278 (according to the CBG March 2025 overview.)

The usual difficult question: I was there on March 05 around 16:00 and noted 10 RAF Hercs outside (I did not go to the "back-end" due to time-constaints). if you are in the viewing area then the nearest HAS site is 3sqn, The furthest HAS site is 11sqn. VAS is located between the 2 squadrons. you may be able to get down New York road which runs along the base perimeter.
