Re: Broken Bone
With the mission capability rate for the B-1s bouncing around 50% its hardly a surprise that engine issues prevented one of them flying home. Its probably awaiting parts and a maintenance crew to be sent over, both of which likely delayed by the 4 day Thanksgiving holiday or they may have more press...

Harkins, to get a feel for the likely sortie rate and times, last time 7BW were here in Oct was 2021. https://www.fightercontrol.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=379&t=210613 or if you want to look further there is a record of the bomber deployments going back to 2009 here https://www.fightercontrol.co.u...

This one is kind of map based https://raildar.co.uk/map/PAD or if you want the full gen on what is due (including all the freight, engineers trains and specials) https://live.rail-record.co.uk/ however you will need to get used to using the sites, 3 letter location codes and filtering options to mak...

Re: Ramp Chart
Sorry to suggest a correction but there are some errors against the official USAF plans for the base (which are not published). The North transient ramp is hardstands 2 and 3. Hardstand 3 as shown is no longer a hardstand and is not on the airfield plans as such. I think the stub of hardstand 4 and ...

Re: Ramp Chart
Try this for starters which is an aerodrome plan from Peregrine Bush, I think it is available already elsewhere on this site but could not find it. Spot 1 is across the taxiway from the fire station and they run roughly clockwise to spot 60 at the western end of taxiway B, google maps does show some...

To save reading through the link the NATO Heads of State summit is 11-12 July which would suggest a UK visit on 10 or 11 July

Re: C130 retirement tour route 14th June
Wonder why they are not doing a flyover at Fairford, 30 and 47 Squadrons operated C-130s from there for three years before moving to Lyneham in 71 and it is on the way in or out of Brize.

Ala 12 based EF-18 CE.15-10 coded 12-73 was carrying black and red 25th anniversary markings throughout 2014, plenty of photos of it online if you google f-18 12-73 torrejon 2014 or F-18 CE.15-10 you can see it. Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Discussion Thread
Seven, the 99ERS Det started mid Oct 2019. Prior to that (for the preceding few years) the RIAT attendee U2s were en route to and from their FOLs and Beale.
