Right this is just a idea. Recently the red air contract was cancelled and I was thinking of a alternative. In a few years time we are supposed to be retiring the sentinel aircraft and at the same time South Korea are looking into purchasing a similar machine. How about both governments doing a swap...

Right this is only a what if exercise but before they where retired just how capable could the f-3 have been made. Could ej200 or f414 engines fit. Agile beam radar. And a weapons fit of 6 medium range missiles and 2 ashram.

Both fighters being 5th generation are supposed to be able to dictate when they engage other previous generation aircraft. But against each other I wouldn't have thought there is much in it between picking each other up and having a firing solution
