Jordy Apologies for quoting the post directly above mine but I thought you wouldn't otherwise see my question Can you say where you go to read stuff off ...

Dutch site scramble.nl reports exercise Steadfast Noon includes B52 participation. May or may not be relevant.
This was also the case in the recent years, but without a deployment to RAF Fairford.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 General Discussion Thread

Google maps has been updated with the satellite image from Friday the 19th, there are only 4 Dutch F-16s on the line, so it suggests the special was towed out late that evening. The other F-16s are dotted around waiting to be towed in to position, but I don't see anything that could be 616. I guess...

Re: RIAT on a Friday.

Hi! We (RNLAF 312 SQN) will be selling on Friday, if it is possible where our stand is located! We are almost fully stocked, just waiting for the new caps and shirts! And ofcourse there should be crew around during the day! Only the viper line (with our 4 operational jets, and 1 wfu) should be close...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 General Discussion Thread

Hi All….just a quick question if that’s ok! I’ve never been to riat on a Friday and was wondering if there will be trade/squadron stalls, or are they there purely over the weekend? Thanks 👍🏻 As I may speak for ourselves, currently our jets are scheduled to arrive on Thursday PM (subject to change)....

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 General Discussion Thread

Not mentioned yet (as far as I know), is that there should be a 5th RNLAF F-16AM on the viper line. This will be the J-616, that is already wfu. It should get a special wrap or paint for that occasion. After that, it will be back to Volkel and be preserved on a pole (the J-240 is already removed fr...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 General Discussion Thread

Romania added to the ongoing discussions, Wonder if we will get their F-16s after all? Yes The Dutch Dude was spot on about the 4 F-16s, He said that 1 on them will have a special tail a few weeks back. At least we’re trying to! But depends on the maintenance state of the aircraft etc.. Our RIAT Pa...
