Re: Twice in one week
I over heard this aircraft fly over on Christmas day, Tracked it on Flightradar24 and it sounded like nothing i've ever heard! A real distinctive drone

I wonder if they received similar complaints before RAF Coltishall closed, surely the Jaguars would have performed similar manoeuvres?

RAF Valley Photocall
Just wondering if anyone has any info on tomorrows photocall, I've heard of 4 Belgian F-16s and a German AF Tornado, but anybody heard anything else that might be heading over to Valley?
Cheers!

Re: Classic British Aircraft
Excellent program, made the aircraft feel alive, my personal favourite must have been the Canberra, Nimrod and Victor. Great watch, and none other than Harry Enfield narrating!

Re: Noise Complaints From T2
It really gets on my nerves when i read stories like this. If he thinks its loud now, i dread to think how he would have managed 15 years ago when it was so much busier, not only with hawks but considerably louder aircraft like Tornados, Jags, Nimrods and the deafening Harrier and Sea Harriers would...

Re: Combined Air Sea Exercise 7-26 SEP 14
Headed over last night, constant movement from sounded like Chinooks and possibly the Lynx and a short visit by a C-130 at around 9.40. Landed on 31 and departed 13. I did notice that not all of the approach lights to 31 are in use, looked odd not to have them all on, and at a very dim setting, any ...

Re: Valley - Missile Practice Camps
Fantastic to see, especially seeing as that taxi way isn't really used anymore as the Hawks and VAS are located on the other side of the airfield. To see three F.3s is awesome :-)

Re: RAAF Richmond - July 2014
I would defiantly recommend a trip to Williamtown. The sheer volume and variety of aircraft is brilliant, after a visit of only an hour and a half we managed to see a number of Hawks, F/A-18,737 Wedgetail as well as a number of commercial flights. And if the weather closes in the afore mentioned Mus...

Re: Llandudno 2014
I saw the blades at Llandudno, and i thought they were superb, With such challenging weather (which got worse during the display) they seemed to breeze though it with such ease, some great manoeuvres (my favourite being the spitfire role) and great commentary, recommend seeing them!

Re: Brunti VC10s and a Tristar...
Great pictures, funny to seen them on the ground together at a different airfield. I'm surprised to see the similarity between the flight deck of the two aircraft despite production being almost 20 years apart.

Re: STV's JetSet - Where are they now?
Ye I remember Combat pilot, great series, I think that was filmed when hawks still had the white wing tips. Strangely I saw one of the student pilots on that program flying the HMS Manchester Lynx on the channel 5 program Caribbean patrol.
