3x FJs northbound above Trent Valley, North Lincs 1410L. Probably 500-1000ft, I didn't get out of the garage quickly enough for a ID. Please can anybody enlighten me?
Cheers Al

Great stuff Captain,
Far better than my efforts, think the views are too restricted for flying shots from inside.

Re: Saturday's tour questions
I was on the opposite bank of the humber to Brough with maybe a dozen others. There appeared to be a large crowd at Brough from what we could see, vulcan was overhead 1309 and did a 270° turn before heading west and performing an orbit in the distance (Brieghton possibly). No traffic problems where ...

Re: Coningsby "Sunset Photoshoot"
I thoroughly enjoyed it as did the folks that I spoke to, all were appreciative of the efforts that the staff went to for us as has been already mentioned, even the guys working on the flightline moved cables etc for us where they could. Thanks folks :thumb: Having internet problems but a couple fro...

Re: Adlertag at Kirmington
Thanks for the comments, The media coverage that I've seen was pretty inaccurate, I heard of a few folks that had gone to various places for a look at all 13 Sptifires as announced in the local media (Hull Daily Mail) and were dissapointed when they didn't see them all. I understand the flight past ...

Adlertag at Kirmington
A dash from work to watch the events at Kirmington / Humberside was well worthwhile. a sights and sound of Spitfires in every direction as they formed into flights will stay with me for a long time: https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5754/20358698210_147ac347d5_c.jpg TD 248 by Al , on Flickr https://far...

Re: Spitfires to commemorate Adlertag
Will depend which end they're using, wind's easterly at the moment so it could be either end.is it worth waiting on the A18 for them to take off or do they only come in over it to land? maybe better to head for the Bridge and then the airport for the landing?

Re: Church Fenton Air Display?
The photos on the landing page look promising though...Typhoon and Vulcan... Indeed, a list of flyers on the site would be useful. From PPrune "Mustang, Spitfire, RV8, Meteor T7, Venom, Vampire, Anson, Rapide, Huey, Loach, The Fighter Collection, JP4 - not the fuel ;-) - Harvard, 3-ship Gnats are o...

Cheers Gary,
Is there some night flying going on this week? We've had low flying FJs over our place in North Lincs every night this week.

Re: Shackleton Night Photo Shoot
I'd be really interested in this. You ask for thoughts, is 120 too many for a nightshoot with 2 aircraft? - might it be a better idea to charge £20 and offer 60 places? I'm thinking here about the amount of time it takes me to mess around with the camera at night. How does £20/£10 compare to the oth...

I'm wondering if they'll have to get the money together up front; surely the income stream from Taxy rides will stop for the duration of the work? and does anybody know if the figure of £3m includes runway work at East Kirkby?
