They are opening up for a day in April and will be running some of the engines. Not sure if they'll be able to taxi in the forseeable future. They look to be pinned into their compound with cars everywhere else, including the runway I assume.

Yes, we were up there Mick. The young lady you spoke to was up there a few times on the Thursday with the cameraman. Very lucky to be able to have such a good vantage point.

Despite the weather it was a great day at Church Fenton for Flying Legends. Passing thundery showers enforced breaks in the programme but most flying was able to take place with the notable exception of the closing 'Balbo'. As Dave mentioned the available dates in the Leeds East calendar have dictated when the show will happen this year. Unfortunate for some people I appreciate, but I believe FL and RIAT have been on the same dates previously. When it comes to the 2024 calendar I'm sure that the dates of the two events...
