Typhoon FGR4 is Multi-Role,the GR4 is over once its Shader Op is canx.Aging air frames are at risk at any level i guess.One thing ive learned about the M.O.D over a big chunk of my lifetime is they do not discuss Op matters in public.P.R. on social media sure.

Most of the time they will issue a NOTAM and pretty sure last week there was 3 separate NOTAMS for Hang Gliding in the Lakes and like the one Blackcat refers to in the Loop they did issue a NOTAM as well and it's Class G Airspace so both work on a 'See and Avoid' basis. The C130 was Dutch (KLu) G-988 at 1416,the Hawk was XX285/CK 100 Years 1417,the following day 19th G-275 also went through,on both occasions on route to Spadeadam HTH.

Thanks mate,i was up there around 930 ish i did hear there was some body else further along but did not see them at the time.I have been lucky with French Alpha's over the years but this was the first at 250ft,the Pirate leading him was as superb as always.
