Ahh . . when airshows were great. Very fond memories of these, great food stalls, great selection of many different aircraft displayed with passion. Loving the Spang F-4's, and KC-10's in full colour! Great post!

They will fly one every now and again, its to verify that the mothballing process is still viable, as the air-frames have to be maintained in a 'returnable to service' condition, although the number is dwindling. Get the best PC you can for your money, Disc size - RAM - Processor - Graphics card, if you can get the best you can given your budget in these 4 corners, then you have a rig that will last a while. A lot of sims now are quite large - hard disk space i mean. Then add-ons, all that can take one heck ...

I couldn’t agree with any more. I don’t understand why there so over the top. These schemes should be for special events and only temporary. I feel sorry for the guy flying it when going up against a MIG etc. in a real situation. But great shots none the less I Think he will be more concerned about...

Fantastic images, really striking.
Question though - that small deploy-able "appendage" below the Raptors - is that a radar reflector akin in function to the F-117's 'biscuit tins'? To enable it to be seen on normal radars during peaceful ops?
