Merci beaucoup! Great quality photos for the time and another date for the time machine when they invent it!

Re: The airshow at Brussels 1967

One of your best yet Arnold. The results are even more stunning given you weren't even using a telephoto lens. Certainly better than I got with a Zenith-B and a standard lens in the mid-seventies!

R.N.A.S. Lossiemouth Air Day 1967

I was going through the old converted footage I have that was taken by Alex Garden and found I hadn't previously uploaded the Lossiemouth 1967 show to YouTube. That has now been corrected.

Now these are a treat indeed. Not many shots of in-service EB-66s around.

Re: Five a day - Part 86

What an end to the 5 a day series. I was stood next to or close to you for more than a few shots over the series but wasn't lucky enough to catch that last Nimitz A-7 which is real cracker. Thanks for taking the time to open your photo collection to the masses and look forward to seeing more in the ...

Re: Five a day - Part 85

Great memories of a fighter that seemed to end its career way too soon. One of the very few US Navy types that didn't see the runway at Lossie but as you say it did grace the skies overhead.

Re: Five a day - Part 84

Great series and do you know if there has ever been any RA or A5s at Lossie. There was at least one Vigilante visited Lossie in the early seventies. The only picture I ever saw of it was a B/W photo taken by a young lad who was on base visit. The unfortunate thing was he also took a photo of a C.1A...

Re: Five a day - Part 84

Lossie got a decent amount of Intruder visits back in the day. Some really good shots of another aircraft type that is missed from our skies.

Re: Five a day - Part 82

Cracking selection Alan. I certainly didn't see or photograph enough Skywarriors when they were around although the ones I got at Point Mugu in 1982 made up a little bit for the local ones I missed.

Re: Five a day - Part 81

Between the F-104s, G-91s and F-4s the was a spell at Lossie when almost every day of the week saw something from the German AF or navy drop into Lossie. Great memories.

All amazing shots but especially the T-33 as they're particularly rare. Think that T-33 still lives on! Preserved in Mexico at Ixtepec AB(Santa Maria) near Juchitan as 4055. Re: Five a day - Part 62

Lossie certainly did get its fair share of German visitors and not just F-4s. The grass was certainly a lot better kept back then making taxi shots so much better.

Re: Five a day - Part 60

I remember seeing these ex-Singapore AF Hunters parked on Bravo and being a bit annoyed when I couldn't be around for their departure. If I remember correctly the UK bought them back from Singapore. The RAF must've been in a hurry to get them into service still having their green/brown camouflage an...

Cracking selection of Broncos. I was never lucky enough to get any of the Marines ones at Lossie unfortunately. Hopefully you will treat us to a showing of some of your shots of the Bronco's cousin the Mohawk in the not to distant future!

I was wondering if you had shots of these Sea Vixens in colour at Kinloss. I have a few B/W prints but sadly the negatives are lost.

Re: Five a day - Part 52

It was always a pleasure to see Drakens and as you say Alan, quite frequent visitors to Lossie. Having said that the first ones I ever saw were 3 Danish ones at Kinloss on the 12th July 1973, they only did approaches and didn't land which was disappointing and if I remember correctly you were there ...

Re: Five a day - Part 49

Some nice colour schemes there Alan. On the 31st July 1973 we got 3 RU-21s at Kinloss with a very a odd looking antenna arrangement on the wings. My shots didn't come out but maybe yours did?

Re: Five a day - Part 46

I remember seeing a lot of Starfighters at Lossie but not very many Danish ones. I think the Danes got a job lot of green paint and decided to paint EVERYTHING with it until the F-16s came along!

Re: Early Model Hercs

That NC-130A is a beauty and I remember that Tennessee Air Guard one at Greenham in 1979. I didn't even know there were any with a flat nose until I saw that one!
