Re: Due Saturday 22nd

yes I was told a few weeks ago that an AN-124 would be coming in instead of a C5 its bringing in a Sim as its to big for a C5, the C5 that came in before only bought in a smaller part to try before the main one arrives. The C5 has nothing to do with the SIM delivery. It was supporting US Army asset...

Re: Cold Turkey anyone....

The RAF F-35s as well as the US F-35s deployed to the region are all fitted with Luneberg Lens reflectors, as evident by the images from press releases. They do not need to fly in total ‘stealth’ mode as the threat in the environment they are flying in is low. Also, if the S400 does pick up a radar ...

93rd FS 'MAKOS' in the sunshine

Really happy to bag these guys during the brief deployment to Lakenheath. It's fair to say that one or two pilots were playing to the gathered masses at the Forestry entrance. Simply awesome breaks into the circuit. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/47831629392_5e73b2a1f4_o.jpg F-16C 88-0405 RAF L...

Looking at images on Facebook of the Super Hornets, one is fitted with the new IRST (Infra Red Search & Track) equipped centre line tank. Possibly the first time this bit of kit has left the USA.

Danish Seahawk and a Skinny Dragon @ Prestwick

Two highlights during a brief visit to Prestwick for the Joint Warrior 19-1 visitors. My main aim was to bag the VP-4 P-8A which I did in the early evening light but the undoubted highlight was Danish Air Force 976 which came in for a splash of fuel. https://live.staticflickr.com/7810/46826884054_4c...
