RAF Mildenhall 1st December 2016

A nice start to December down at Mildenhall, with the pair of Georgia ANG C-130's departing via the underun, and a pair of nice Turkish Air Force visitors, with the Turkish Stars C-130 arriving in some lovely winter sun. The same couldn't be said for the KC-135R's arrival later in the day...... :P 1...

Re: RAF Lossiemouth- Joint Warrior 16-2 (Week 2)

Good Morning FC, To some of you this may sound like a broken record, as I've talked to many photographers through Flickr or e-mail over the last few weeks. This seems like an easier way to reach a group all at once, as the e-mails got a little tough to keep track of. To those who openly shared thei...

Have to agree with my Uncle on this one- really hard to pick a favourite, but i think the image of the A400 running its engines might just edge it! :Wow:

RAF Lossiemouth- Joint Warrior 16-2 (Week 2)

A selection of images from my second trip up to Lossiemouth in 2016. Once again the exercise really delivered the goods, with plenty of movements to watch and some of the best access at any airbase in the UK. Must give a big thanks to the local lads up at Lossie who ALWAYS give a warm friendly welco...

Nice set Mr C. :thumb: Really like the A310 arrival pictures.
That spot at ATS is really nice- love the angle you get from there! Just a shame its 'weekends only' down there! :D

Good to see you briefly yesterday- hope you've had a good weekend mate.

EP-3E Arriving at RAF Mildenhall 29/10/16

Made a brief stop at the local today to coincide with the arrival of a very rare visitor to these shores these days- EP-3E 156529 of VQ-1 on an overnight stop on her way back to the States. 1) https://c3.staticflickr.com/6/5758/30610933546_2e89cd4337_b.jpg 156529 EP-3E (1) by jut73 , on Flickr 2) ht...

Re: Reapers invade Bentwaters 2016

Fantastic set there Uncle Patrick- really nice to see some picturesfrom the other side of the airfield. I've done a coach tour on that side during one of the open days, but the walking tour looks like a really good way to get a better look at the treasures hidden over there! Must try and hop on one ...

Currently on my way up to Lossiemouth, and swung past to grab a picture of her before she gets auctioned off! No idea of when the auction is, or how much she's likely to go for, but the old girl was looking good in the last of the days light! :thumb: https://c2.staticflickr.com/9/8278/30285129681_b3...
