Re: Waxwing at Troon

Excellent shots Dougie :thumb: , we had a few of them in our garden a couple of years ago. They didn't stay long but ate all of the berries on the bushes before going to other gardens, beautiful birds and quite rare around here - they migrate to these parts from Scandinavia, don't they?

Re: Stansted sub-forum

I'll look at adding the section later, need to watch Ding thrash O'Sullivan at the UK Championship first  . Personally think the whole forum needs to be looked at, with sections getting rid off. Can you sort the rules out too? https://www.fightercontrol.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10728&p=...

Some are famous amongst spotters for example EGPK , EGUL EGUN EGLL

But rules is rules so I don't mind typing Prestwick Lakenheath Mildenhall London Heathrow
Can the rules be updated please, it would only take 2 minutes to add this to them?

Just read the forum rules twice and unless I am missing it cannot see anywhere that airfield codes are not to be used.
It's not actually within the rules (but should be), the thread is here :- viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10728

Re: Louisiana ANG @ Lossiemouth

Lovely set Wish I was more in the 'know' in those days as they would have been worth a visit. Seen 085 preserved at Warner Robins and 095 but don't know where without going through my books A very nice set indeed, I think you possibly saw 095 at Spangdahlem (if you've ever been there) as it was use...

San Diego : The 'Top Gun Bar' & The Flying Leatherneck Museum

These were taken on Friday, this is the bar used in the original Top Gun film in San Diego, it's actually called 'The Kansas City Barbeque'................ More info about the locations used in the film can be found here :- https://www.locationshub.com/blog/2013/10/27/top-gun-revisited-5-san-diego-l...

I've replaced the old broken Photobucket links in my post on page 1, post 1, just to show the level of ineptitude that I was at 10 years ago - but I'm still at the same level!

'I'm A celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.' is the title of the thread.
Every word there starts with a capital letter apart from the word 'celebrity' - why, don't celebrities deserve a capital letter?
