Re: The Tuesday Club.

Mirage. Life is a journey for all of us, and it eventually ends. My next door neighbour was given 1 to 3 years to survive his problems. He is still here six years later. Hope the same happens to you. Best wishes. I thank you very much for your kind thoughts, raptor. Best wishes to you and yours for...

Re: The Tuesday Club.

Sadly, I have to report that I am developing a terminal tumour - of the Aesophagus type. El Doctorey advises ETD some 6/12 months, but we do not know when the countdown started. I am to be blessed with a Stent next Wednesday, and am not looking forward in any way to all the gagging and discomfort th...

You are almost certainly correct in your suspicions - when was the last time you found a banker working over a weekend.

Re: Aldi Solar Panels

As expected, Aldi advise that the solar panel assembly (250 panels, generating over 60kW) were removed because of the number of pigeon that had decided to live within them.

Aldi Solar Panels

Our local Aldi has for some years had hundreds of solar panels installed on their south facing roof. At 250 watts per panel, they must have generated a lot of power. Today I noted that they have been removed. At least, from my experience of Aldi, I am confident of receiving a sensible answer to my o...

I think there is a restaurant in Aldeburgh or Southwold - somewhere on the Suffolk coast, anyway - that specialises in muntjac dishes.
Butcher in High St. Wells n/t Sea sells fully prepared Muntjac.

Muntjac mania

I know I'm a light sleeper, but I have just been alerted by the sound of our front garden being munched. Whilst it is too dark to spot the culprit, those two famous words have given us a momentary respite. Further inspection at reveille will doubtless confirm another raid by one or more of the incre...
