RIAT sunday night gate closure
Hi enjoyed Sundays show, however I do have 1 minor gripe. Flying roughly finished just after 6.00pm, yet they wanted to close the airfield at 7.30, well for them that went for one day and sitting on the fence line all day doesn't give them much chance to visit the static, I appreciate its a long day...

Ah the good old days, I remember them, sat on a hill all day on my own with no planes. Rob, yeh its amazing how many people still think that if a foreign or visiting aircraft is in the UK, then it means it will go low level.....however I totally understand people going out just in case. As for Ians ...

Hmm interesting how Blackbelts comments have caused a stir. I would like to add that most people on this board are into,( in some way or another) military aircraft. Now although they can be used as a deterrent, they are also used for killing, and we can pussyfoot around all you want about the origin...

sorry if i have missed this anywhere, but will the viewing area be late to open for departures on Monday morning?
And does anyone know what day the Thunderbirds are leaving?
And lastly does anyone have the Waddington Atis freq?
