Re: Red Arrows 60th Diamond Season
Ready to stand alone on this but still enjoy the Reds maybe their target market isnt the same demographic as this forum, but still see everyone raise their heads in Lincoln when they fly-past on practices. Pretty sure many are commenting without having seen this years display (compared with admitted...

Re: F-4, SU-22 and Buccaneer.
Well depends on what you "technically" call spotting/togging they are there, we all have different rules, I make no judgement. As for the future I guess the plan to fly if needed/required by HHA are long gone. A museum/heritage centre was a plan but the use for the airfield seems to have taken a dif...

F-4, SU-22 and Buccaneer.
Driving past former RAF Scampton (yep that feels strange) all heavily wrapped in white plastic and parked at the end of the runway (A15/Hackthorn end) are the F-4, Su-22 and Buccaneer. Just posted in case anyone is interested in catching these, long term residents.

Re: Red Arrows will display with 7 rather than 9 Hawks this season
For anyone still wanting to know the pilot line up Reds 1-7 listed on RAF website now, presumable Officer Commanding and Red 10 fill the spaces for the nine-ship flypasts.

Re: Change in aircraft ownership announced
Congratulations on the transfer, its a bit spooky as this video of the Vulcans arrival popped up on my suggested videos yesterday and makes an interesting watch. Newark goes from strength to strength.

Re: Sky Guardian to Waddo
Just digging up an old thread, am guessing early reports of some trial operations from Waddington in July arent happening. There seems to be no news, rumours, notams or cargo aircraft in from America. Anyone know anymore or if I have missed something?

Re: What counts as "Spotting" an aircraft?
Absolutely anything that flies that has an identifiable registration or serial. I need to be personally satisfied that the aircraft seen is the correct registration/serial if in "doubt it stays out". Any grounded aircraft including cockpit sections or substantial remains. (a very long way from FC re...

Re: F15s Dogfighting
Hello folks, I've been a resident of Holbeach (near the RAF Holbeach range) for over 30 years but have never yet been woken by war planes using the nearby RAF Holbeach range, as the range doesn't open till 09:00. However, this week, something completely different happened. I was woken by warplanes ...

Re: British Phantom Aviation Group (Official Topic)
On a selfish level was looking forward to a shrine to all things Phantom here in the East Midlands but Kemble seems to be becoming something exciting and although I wont be as regular visitor looking forward to travelling down to see them. As for the active runway if one thing is certain, nothing is...

Not a lot of help, but rather than Tutors the Grob Prefects park on the pan outside the hangars with the Phenoms. The Tutors park the opposite side of the airfield. Hope some one has the reggies for you.
