Hi. I was with 1350sqn based at Tichfield in Hampshire. I was lucky enough to fly in a Herc from Thorney Island around 1971. I also flew in several Chipmunks from Hamble and Topcliffe and Summer camp at Leeming when they had JP’s

Nice one David.
The F104 was always the highlight for me at an airshow, especially the German navy. One would do a slow flyby and the second would hurtle by at 600 mph , throttle back and make that wonderful howl.
