Saw what I thought was my first F35 today, briefly, when I was at work and heard a similar sound 5-10 minutes later but unsighted. Using the playback features on ADSB and FR24 there is no sign of any jets in my area. Do the F35's show up on these sites?

I'd happily take all of them!

First, you don’t know what is and isn’t flying; even the planners in DBH won’t yet. Second, DBH can ask and ask and ask but ultimately can only put in the flying display that for which they have permission. The can ask, absolutely. Tristram was a top bloke, I think he rejoined the RAF as a reservist Air Traffic Controller and did a tour in the Falklands.
