Something similar for the 2018 Winter Olympics opening ceremony too. So the basic "groundwork" has been done already to work out multiple control etc.

Alfie, nobody mentioned the Falklands and Mike's comment was aimed at James as per his quote.

Great post - and not only for the Lightnings! Just before I started spotting properly. Shame the weather wasn't that good for the '87 farewell show.

Re: California Road Trip

"Hope you like" - I love this post. You had me on the first photo, then the second and third...! All lovely shots but some real stunners too. Guess I'll have to make do with the occasional trip to Scotland!

ZK437 from the thread linked above. Obviously a typo by Red Dragon.

I always carry a power pack when travelling or on a long day out. Worth spending a few quid and for the price of a RIAT burger or two

Re: Windows 7 - R.I.P.

It was indeed. However only Windows 10 is fully supported and providing security updates. I guess it's a risk you take and with up-to-date AV/firewall minimises that risk.

Quick internet search - sorry had to cheat(!). It is a Sikorsky S-43 marked up to represent a JRS-1.

Great post MIke with some really classic types both old and modern.

Re: Stars + Bars over Yorkshire

Lovely reminder of times past Michael. I remember turning up at Finningley and being pleasantly surprised to see the B-52.

I think Ohio A-7s only came to Sculthorpe and that was 1983, 1986 and 1989 if that helps.

@Warthog56 - you and me both plus a time machine.
