Re: Trained Pilots-No Planes

Should have been kept in house instead of contracting out! Privatisation costs considerably more and reduces overall control and efficiency!

Re: Italian Navy Avanti

Going by todays visitors, it seems that the mil traffic that would have gone to Northolt are going to use Benson instead during the runway works.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Discussion Thread

Just had this in an e-mail from RIAT!
You may have missed our aircraft announcement last Friday! We're pleased to confirm the Air Tattoo debut of the Hellenic Air Force's 'Daedalus' Demo Team flying a single T-6A Texan II turboprop trainer! (This is not an April fool's joke!)

Re: C17s to Fairford

Late 80's we had regular deployments to Fairford of 7 B52's, I think about 2 per year, before that we had deployments of 3 to Upper Heyford ( at least 3 that I can remember) Brize had 3 at a time around 2 per year and then Fairford with 3 which increased to 7 in later years.

New CV22 ?

Just seen on ADSB was a CV22 showing as Knife71 05-0028, is this correct or is it showing a false ID?

Re: ADSB mobile problems!

I've tried this and I get the desktop layout that has the advert bar across the middle and the bit to close it down after 20 seconds is off the screen so I can't close it! It used to come up in an Android friendly version but not any more.

ADSB mobile problems!

I've had ADSBEXCHANGE working on my mobile for a number of years with no problems but suddenly this week it's reverted to the desktop version and is unusable on my phone! Anyone else had this problem? It happened once before and I changed the desktop bit on the web address to mobile and that sorted ...

Bucky, 97-0303 and 97-0321 were both operating in the NWMTA that morning with Claw callsigns but I can't tell you for sure as there were four up at the same time and some came back via the Lichfield corridor.
Many thanks.

Re: Scotnight 2018

Can anyone confirm which 1 departed as SWI411, ADSB had it as J5001, I saw it heading south over Abingdon?
