Re: AMARG from the fence, sorry large post!

I was there about a month later, end of November/ beginning of December, logged around 340 B52s! And around 1000 F4s amongst many others!

Re: Can you go lower

IIRC the Dutch F27 display didn't consist of a take off, they just retracted the undercarriage!

Re: Why RAF Boscombe Down?

This flight has passengers who are confirmed as having the virus, previous flights had passengers from infected areas who were at possible risk of having it. You had better inform all the news channels of this then, and the NHS, as they are reporting that all confirmed cases remain in Japan and all...

Re: ZP801 first RAF P8 Poseidon arrival to RAF Kinloss 04-02-20

I think we are the only ones who don't have boom refueling on their A330s! And yet our lease agreement is probably the most expensive of all of them! I believe the lease has a clause about us being fined if we use other aerial refueling options other than Air Tanker so we can't use the A400 to refue...

Re: ZP801 first RAF P8 Poseidon arrival to RAF Kinloss 04-02-20

It's baffling really, we now operate 3 types requiring boom refuelling with a 4th in the pipeline when the Wedgetail comes on line and yet we have a fleet of hose and drogue only tankers! Short sighted comes to mind!

C17 7/12/19

Does anyone know the ID of the C17 on the deck at Mildenhall today, I was there briefly at around midday and it was parked near the 2 visiting KC153's that departed shortly after. Thanks in advance.

Re: Marshalls move

and for every three houses built they used to say the third was pure profit! Persimmons, I believe, have a business model that for every 3 houses they build 2 are pure profit, that's around 66% profit on every house! No wonder they were the first builder to make £1 billion profit in a year and afte...

445! Bagged over 340 at DM in 1992, some of which I'd previously seen in the UK at Fairford, Brize Norton and Upper Heyford during the 80's!

Re: Another Papho request 10/8/19

It was definitely the 10th, they were all parked on the north east ramp area, probably around 11.30 am ish. There was nothing there on the 14th 7pm when we departed.

Re: Trained Pilots-No Planes

Should have been kept in house instead of contracting out! Privatisation costs considerably more and reduces overall control and efficiency!
