Long shot but after reading the Vulcans at Scampton thread,I wondered if anyone had a note of the Vulcans at Waddington between 1/2/75 and 15/3/75.I was working on and around the base but somewhere along the way the notes went missing(probably in the toolbox I handed back)

Just wondered if anyone had the serials of the aircraft used in this exercise.Had a problem with a faulty Floppy disc a few years ago and this is on of the bits I lost.Got some decent pictures while on a base visit with the aviation group but not on shows a serial????

Thanks Chris sun was playing havoc and by the time we got a good look it was too far away.Didnt look as if it was heading for Dundee but they do sometimes do quite tight turns near the bridges.
about 13:30 this afternoon while walking over the Barry/Buddon ranges we were overflown by what looked like a Sentinel which was headed roughly in the Leuchars direction at low altitude We were looking right into the sun so couldn't get a good look.There was the possibility it was a civil for Dundee...

In the mid afternoon of Sunday 25th while out fishing near Forfar we were entertained by single prop Cessna/Piper like aircraft done up in US Navy colours It did a few turns and dives then headed off west.it looked pretty impressive from where we were ..Any ideas as to what it was?? Thanks Keith
