Re: For Dunk (another one to lock)

Since you ask Mike, in my view you are the certain individual who has caused the most damage to the South West section of the forum by driving members away. In my view you are in breach of Rule 4 of the forum. Congratulations on thanking 2e1var for his infrequent post to the South West. One thing pu...

Re: For Dunk (another one to lock)

Well said Dave and thank you EGCC for pointing out where you think we should be posting suggestions. Since as stated they are looking to make changes, I looked in vain for an admin lead thread with their suggestions and an invitation for discussion. I can't find that. For a start there needs to be p...

Yet another locked thread.

In this thread a reference was made to a thread from 2013 which made suggestions to admin for a separate section for St Mawgan/Newquay: http://www.fightercontrol.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=110515 i stated that no reply had been forthcoming from admin in the 2013 thread. Two of the admin chose ...

Re: Aircraft movements? ?

I was going to refer you to some earlier threads where I set out quite clearly where the problem lay as far as I was concerned. Those threads have been removed. It is very sad that it wasn't possible to make a constructive comment without it being censored.

There are two Apaches operating out of Culdrose this week. They are out and about when you heard them so it was probably them.

Re: Chinook over watergate bay this time into Newquay?

I was walking on Penhale Sands north of Perranporth just after 17:50 and a wokka was flying quite high tracking down the coast towards St Ives, I heard, I presume the same one, coming back just after 18:10. Which matches my log times at Newquay of 17:49 and 18:15.

Has the displays on that day as Lanc, Hurri, Spit at Guernsey and Jersey Air shows. Could well be those a/c enroute to the Channel Islands.

Re: Airday Week

I am hoping to be around on the Wednesday either in the viewing area or some other vantage point. Sadly I have to be Wales on the Thursday. Depending on the SWMBO's plans I might even make a visit on the Tues too. Can't make departures as we are down to Dover for SWMBO's channel swim training, the a...

Welcome to the forum mrgijones1. Re: Typhoon on 'burners over North Dorset

Welcome to the forum jam09. I believe the way the South West part of the forum is used seems to suit the majority of its users. Mike has an opinion that all OTT traffic should be posted in the OTT section. He lives in Inverness according to his profile but seems to get upset by the way those of us d...
