Re: Glasgow KGV Docks Joint Warrior ships/helicopters.

Late afternoon F803 sailed and still had NH90 on deck. The FGS Hessen was starting to leave dock so was a fair bit away from me. Starboard hangar open and looked like a Lynx inside. Surprisingly dark in there! Dutch ships F831 and F802 both had hangars open, One was stacked with boxes and the other ...

Re: Pure Nostalgia - Voodoos @ Ch. Fenton Air Pageant '63

Thanks for posting that photo.
F-101C 60029 was at a Lossiemouth air day, 1962 possibly. KB-50J, F-100 and T-33 accompanied it. I was 9!
It was the only 81st TFW one I ever saw.
Heyford ones flew regular approaches to Lossie. Spotter's nightmare trying to get the serials.

Re: Sunday 24th September

The A400M approach on 30 before he went around was reminiscent of those B-52 shots where they are coming in sideways.
No idea what the wind speed was but it certainly was a bit blowy.

Re: Some (Slightly) Older Leuchars Memories (Pic Heavy)

Thank you for bringing back some good memories of a sadly missed base.
I look forward to your F3 photos as it is my favourite version of the Tornado.

Re: baldo fife

For LM 47 Take the A977 west from J 6 of the M 90, then right onto the B 918. Look right once you pass the first set of chicken sheds which are on the right. The cabs will be head on. Also some visibility from the A91 to the north of the airfield, but the furthest cab may only be showing rotors and...

Re: F-UGSH

Just had a quick trip out to have a look, surprised it’s parked where it is, thought it would be next to the USAF planes. I thought I had missed it but was pleased to see it when I went down to the end to turn. Unfortunately crap for photograph as the sun chose to leave the clouds at that point so ...

See RCH116 showing as 87-0042 just about to cross coast north of Hull. Still at 34000 feet though.
