Is the WAVE cafe open yet ? I know last year when lockdown started being lifted although you couldn't enter the prems you could get your butties through the door/window !

Hi Paul - I've been to the Air Museum there a couple of times in the past and can tell you that its only a 15 min walk into the town from there- depends as to where joe public will be situated as to how much farther. Google maps gives you a good idea of the layout.

Erik - I understand the freighter is inside a hangar at the moment and was minus wings. It is not viewable even if you visit the museum.
Will be eventually but not sure when.
