Re: Another Exercise for Waddington
I noticed today a sign has appeared at the entrance to the northern layby on Tower Lane (Harmston end) that it will be closed between 30th October and 10th November. Indicative of something happening and the same set up as has been in place for CW by the looks of it.

Re: Log 27/8-31/8
On 30th Gauntlet 38 was ZH833. Also a Chipmunk arrived at 11:21 as I was leaving (red scheme but didn't get any ID on it).
Also noteable on 31st as part of Mojo flight that will presumably be the first visit of a Norwegian F35 to Waddo

Re: Cobra Warrior 23-2
The Exercise runs from 4th to 22nd September, so expect support and arrival of participants last week of August.
For the first time night flying will form part of the Exercise, and this will take place in the third week.

Movements 20/10/21
This may become a non movement thread as I am hearing rumours today may be a press day so possibly no flying? 103 has been towed to the north side by the B2 hangars, 110 is viewable by the crash gate at Dunfield, 136 still parked and viewable from crash gate at Marston Mersey and 140 still on pan mi...

Could anyone confirm the id (serial) of Scalp 99 please. Had it both northbound
and southbound over Waddington today so intrigued as to which one it is. Checked the various threads here and couldn't find it so apologies if I have missed it. MTIA

Re: Ex Cobra Warrior parking restrictions
For all those booking leave/hotels etc, don't forget that if the exercise runs as per previous years then flying will be limited to Mon, Wed and Fri mornings only. There has occasionally been some movements outside of this period but this has been very hit and miss and usually only involved one or t...
