Re: Ex Joint Warrior

Re: REQ Yeovilton - 7 March 2019

Chaps, ref ZZ513, if it was on the 'south pan' it would have been a AH1, 513 is a HMA2 and would have been on the 'eastern pan where the Navy Wildcats operate from, white markings for the Navy Black for the Army and 847NAS

REQ- NW Las Vegas 5th March

As they say, a long shot but if anyone is in the area for Red Flag 19-2, earlier this morning 2 CH53,s with about 10 minutes between went over NW Vegas heading NE, might have been the light but the first one looked dark grey with the second one the standard light grey colour.

Re: HMS Northumberland Merlin

Hi Paul I found a shot of Northumberland with Merlin coded "372" and "B" sat on her stern, which I believe is ZH852, those markings/codes certainly tie in with her photos on ABPics. ZH852 is a HM1 and has been in storage at Boscombe Down for several years so that is an old photograph, the B is also...

Re: Yeovil (Westlands) Sightings Autumn/Winter 2018/19

There was a Norwegian AW101 on the ramp at 08:45 tail on, but I couldn't get an angle to read it off. It still had the Norwegian serial covered, and the UK serial applied though. That, and the fact it appears to have departed on a Westland callsign makes me think it'll be back, and isn't on deliver...
