Much to my surprise, I was passed by an outsized load convoy carrying a Vulcan nose section westbound on the A142 between Ely & Chatteris, Cambs this afternoon around 1530. Most grateful if anybody has a clue as to what it might have been and where it was travelling to.

Hi Gary,

JTAC callsign was Centurion rather than Speed Balloon but they were Americans, so you can be excused!!

Pirate 25 was XX284 (CN) and Rebel85 was ZK365 (EB-L). G-HM was civvy tin conducting an aerial survey.

None of it quite as exciting as Friday!

ZJ263 is definitely incorrect - that was a Squirrel written off at Tern Hill in 2007!
