Re: Rumour re- possible reformation of XXV Sqn
I asked the RAF for a list of squadrons based on Seniority under FOI act 25 Sqn was at the time the most senior dormant unit when these rumours started, number 22 on the list. Wish I had asked for the top 100 Sqns now :ninja: Hopefully you can see the link https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/4085...

WHIF RAFAT Hawk T2

Kit: Airfix A03073 Decals: From Airfix ...

Re: Brexit - EU Poll
All, Maybe someone should start a petition on the Government website 'we the 51.7% of the electorate that voted find it unconstitutional to run a second referendum, as if the Remain camp had won the first one, they would not allow a second. The government cannot rerun public votes until it gets the ...

Re: Brexit - EU Poll
Some very interesting debate here. For those of you who are unsure, or even know how you are going to vote I suggest you read this http://uk.businessinsider.com/eu-referendum-reasons-why-a-brexit-is-a-good-idea-2016-6 A good account as why the EU as a whole doesn't work and why Britain is a square p...

Re: Brexit - EU Poll
Debate is heating up and I am growing tired of the Scaremongering that is going on. DC 'there will be war', what on earth is he on about? Britain is a strong nation and we can go it alone. Europe is more worried about losing us than we are of losing them. People's decisions will not be swayed by a c...

Re: Runway Resurfacing
Is the viewing area okay in the morning regarding the sun? Ian Hi Ian R19 spotters car park is good viewing all day, sun can be a challenge but can also be worked around. Eg in the afternoon be at the end of the car park nearest the base and you will be less effected by sunlight on the piano keys. ...

Re: Runway Resurfacing
Runway starts this Monday, so no R31 (Rhosneigr) or R13 (Fraggle Rock) for a while Best viewing is 19 (spotters) or a long walk to 01 (beach). Please be aware that the beach end it can be hard to see the boundary fence due to shifting dunes and trespassing on the base will be quickly dealt with. My ...

Re: Brexit - EU Poll
The EU was conceived as a great idea, with a few countries that were all in the same stage of development. What it has become is a beaucratic burdening machine that has completely lost control, generating stupid rules (eg how powerful a vacuum cleaner can be). Allowing countries to join when they do...
