There will be a Service of Remembrance at The Freckleton Memorial Gardens on Friday the 23rd, August, I am assuming that the Service may take place at 10.45am which is the time when the Disaster happened 80 years ago.

Cunard liner named in Liverpool today 3rd June 2024.

Cunard Liner Queen Anne the company 249 liner is to be named in a Ceremony in Liverpool today. After the ceremony there will be a spectacular Fireworks display at about 22.15pm as the liner departs from the pier head at Liverpool.

I was perusing the RAF Shawbury for March 2024 and discovered that 18 Squadron were flying local sorties in and around Shawbury and flying up to Spadeadam check Shawbury for dates and serials.

My highlight of Mallet Blow was seeing seeing 30 F111s consisting of 24 F 111 with 6 EF111 Ravens flying into Spaeadam Airspace and being bounced by Leeming And Coningsby F3 Tornados All 30 were splashed as they flew over Wiley Syke and D510 before flying towards Berry Hill.
