VAAC Harrier.

Travelling East along the A5 close to Weeford island on Tuesday (16th) was Cosfords dismantled VAAC Harrier on the back of two low loaders.

Anyone got any idea where it is off to?

Hi, the logo relates to the UK corrosion control squadron (painters) it does indeed contain the names of the crew that painted the aircraft.

Its been reinstated on all three of the heritage aircraft.

The guys were at the quarry entrance yesterday (25th) in one of the "hire" vans with boxes of various merchandise That was around 12.30 ish if that helps

Having visited yesterday, I can confirm that the road closure allows access to frontages on the Marham Road from Chalk lane up to Tithebarn Road.

The closure is immediately after this junction so you can still park in the large layby if necessary.

Can anybody give me a idea as to access currently? Judging from the photos doing the rounds they are all taken from the 01 end so access is still available? That said I don't want to pee the landowner off when I visit soon.
