A Brize Norton farewell to VC-10

A few late shots from the end of VC-10 enthusiasts day at Brize Norton on the 22nd September. A superbly smooth and well sponsored and organised by the office commanding 216 Squadron and hosted by 99 & 101 squadrons. Their hospitality and generosity in facilitating access to their aircraft was secon...

Re: Green Flag Coningsby 3/9/13 - Pic Heavy

did you notice you accidentally got the lights in on the last one? shame - it ruined it, nice set otherwise. Some really nice aircraft at Coningsby at the moment, the only problem, of course is all of the halfwits that it attracts and the endless utter drivel that you hear being spouted at the fenc...

Green Flag Coningsby 3/9/13 - Pic Heavy

After a stupidly early start I arrived at Coningsby just after 07:00 to find a number of even more enthusiastic togs already in place. By 10am the early morning mist had burn off and it was looking like we were in for a better morning than the weather forecast gnome has predicted and the fence line ...

Re: Lossie @ night

Excellent set, something I've wanted to but not done yet! It can be very hit and miss in terms of what and how many aircraft fly (unless you have some really good contacts (which I don’t)), needs a lot of patience waiting to see if they come out to play and the awaiting their return. Also needs a l...

Hawk Fest - Pic Heavy

More shots from the Lossie open day, best summed up as sunshine and showers: Apologies for being quite so pic heavy but found it hard to pick my favourites out from the crowd. 1. Falcons @ Lossie

Well more delayed processing from the Lossie open day back in April. next up a selection of Falcons, although with a bit of a damp start to proceedings but then the sun finally made an appearance just in time for the flight line walk. We paid for it the following day though sitting listening to the ...
