On way back from dentist near Forfar was entertained by at least 4 possibly more presumably Typhoons doing high energy training. Due to weather all leaving contrails interweaving as they appeared to be chasing each othe. This over Tay Estuary a stones throw from Leuchars. Have never seen this here b...

It was a commercial jet from Dundee. It has been in and out twice today.

Can't recall serial offhand but is US registered IIRC

Might have been Gulfstream N102NY

Their vessel the SD Victoria (special forces use this ship) is now showing off the mouth of the River Tay between St Andrews Bay and Barry Buddon ranges. Previous years have seen activity with this vessel. Also fast ribs and another two high speed craft usually work from Tayport Harbour in support. ...

Well worth the visit even just to see the one that went almost vertical directly overhead!
Stayed until 12.30 to head up to Coningsby and my accommodation for next 4 days. In time to see my first 35B.

Hi

I know this is never an exact science but I am within reach of Lakenheath for the only time this year on Monday. I read some aircraft away/going so do you think it worth being there on Monday?
