Leeming.
Thank Neil.

Wonder how many accidents that’ll cause on the A46. Looks amazing but surely one hell of a distraction when driving if you don’t know it’s there.
I am not sure if the Angel of the North has been blamed for causing any accidents, and it's a similar situation.

Re: Operation Highmast

With the original proposal to withdraw the role of the Royal Marines, which was then cancelled. Then the Future Commando Force reformed, I think they now feel piggy in the middle. But glad at least that they have a role and something to fly :-)

As posted previously, there are a number of military ships attending, which are available to tour by those with a show pass. Plus a number of water and drone demos.

Defence and Security Equipment International - a military trade exhibition and conference, where you will see (from the other side of the river) military shipping, water demos and maybe static helicopters.

Re: Edinburgh military tattoo flypasts 2025

Yes, I was referring to the Tattoo - flypasts were only scheduled for a handful of dates, & the night you attended unfortunately, one wasn't booked. I hope it didn't spoil the event for you - the Tattoo is a fine way to spend an August evening in Edinburgh. I have never been before, but it was a su...

Last one tonight, & that's it for this year. Vandal, I am not sure if this subject has gone off topic or not. I was at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo on the 14th, and there was no flypast, or even a mention of one. Were you referring to the tattoo? Mattius, re the recent sightings of Chinooks, they ...

Went to the tattoo last night (14th) and saw no flypast. Could someone explain why, or has the subject gone off-topic?
