Interesting...just to meet the 2.5% target will require an extra £7 billion. After the reaction to the recent tax increases even more taxation won't go down well with Joe Public.

If you want more aircraft/ships etc then you have to pay more tax...imagine how popular that would be bearing in mind the headlines about the NI increases and changes in the IHT liability for farms.

I presume the name "Crusaders" came from 14 Sqn's long service in the Middle East in both World Wars. The squadron badge has a red cross on a white background which is supposed to a Crusader symbol. Just went Sunday. Walked in arriving at start of display...no sign of any traffic problems this year. Post show no idea. Canon have now decided to allow Sigma, and Tamron, to produce lens but only for the RF mount. As yet nothing announced in the 150-600mm range.

I was thinking of using the A17 side for photography but I wonder if that spot might be too close to the flypast. Any idea at what height they fly 250 or 500ft? NOTAM's silent/

Thinking about going to Cranwell to see the rehearsal. Spot on the A17 looks good...but will they be applying parking restrictions??
