Where have you seen that? Last year it was the same with the Typhoon and Spitfire that had displayed together elsewhere but didn't at Fairford!

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2023 General Discussion Thread
Fantastic update. Pity about the Turkish Stars but given the circumstances fully understandable. B52 and Al Fursan in the flying is brilliant. 2 I've never seen fly. Never seen an SU22 either so another brilliant addition. Shaping up to be a great weekend. Gutted about the Turkish stars, I don't re...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2023 General Discussion Thread
Last year the flying example was going to be based Fairford so I'd assume it's the same case this year. I was wondering if it would be based at Fairford or fly in from Mildenhall as they do take some time to warm up. Quite a sight though, been over to Fairford many times for deployments of B52s and...

Re: RAF Cosford Airshow 2023
Such a shame about Sally B, was due to see her this weekend and next, hopefully the inspection doesn't find any issues and she gets back in the air soon. Always love a Vampire though. It would be great if they do manage to get some more aircraft but for me the Patrouille Suisse are the big draw. In...

Re: RAF Brize Norton Air Mobility Fleet Photoshoot
Great shots, I had been booked on the planned COAP shoot that got cancelled, managed to get to Brize last month and get some arrivals and departures of the C130s.

I went to the season premiere this year for my first visit to the collection, I must say I was much more impressed that I thought I would be, We had a great day, stunning aircraft and a lovely smaller display.

Re: Best display of RIAT 2022
I agree with IanLW, Black eagles and Austrian QRA were up there as the stars of the show. The short takeoff of the Typhoon was amazing, looking forward to seeing the teams this year.

Such a shame, I went for the first time to the last one in 2019, it was a great show. I used to love the smaller shows like Kemble and Biggen Hill also both of which are no more.

Great shots, I went 2 years ago and hope to go again this year. Where were you for the battle? Were you in the VIP area or did you get some better access somehow?
Thanks
Matt

Hi All, I have been a member for a while, well signed up some time ago, left some comments on photos and other posts and then my account disappeared! Looking at the rules when signing up it looks like it was deleted as I only posted on photo posts! Anyway I am a keen aviation photographer based in W...

Flying days last B1 deployment
Hi all, On one of the FB groups I saw someone post in a comment which days the B1s flew in their last deployment, just wondering if anyone has a list of the days they flew. I know this will be mostly useless compared to this deployment but interesting to know. I have searched and searched but couldn...

Re: RAF Fairford weekend flying
Hi,
Based on previous deployments it has mainly been week days, I know last time the bones were over however there was at least 1 Saturday they flew and also hot-pitted and went up in the evening.
