4x F18's in South Ayrshire

Anyone know anything about the 4x F18's that buzzed over South Ayrshire today at ~1430ish or so?

They did a run and break as I was driving along the A77.

Re: ADS-B Exchange sold to private equity firm

If it does become paid, the contributers that feel against that should really just leave ADSB and create a new one from scratch based off the old model.

Worth having an Inverness section? Same for Glasgow as well?
Why not? If you can warrant a thread for it why not its own section? Not exactly too unreasonable.

Re: Herc's at CBG May 2023

Is ZH877 inside or parked out? Its the one that I have always missed or just departed before I arrived. I noted only 5 ex-RAF Hercules outside - ZH868 & ZH878 (I think) and ZH888, this evening, but didn't stop to read the other two off, I'm afraid. (ZH875 is the one I'm now after). ZH868 is current...

What a set up! Getting (clean) shots of those old aircraft without anything modern in the background is no easy feat.

I do miss the F-111's. Still, the F-15s have provided much entertainment over the years.

Wonder what the saftey record of the V-280 will be like given the V-22's history if they are join to be used in large quantities?

Still looking forward to seeing them eventually.

Re: A busy day at Prestwick

Wow - quite the line up of USAF heavies. It always seems incredible to me that the USAF use Prestwick so heavily given the fees that must be associated with each movement. Just regular landing and handling fees, etc, for aircraft of this size. Given that they could land at actual USAF bases in the ...
