1. Don't dismiss 2nd hand kit.
2. Don't fixate on DSLR. That is 20th century tech and there are many other and better options now if you are starting from scratch on a budget.
3. Glass, glass, glass. The lens is king.
4. Do not ignore Image Stabilisation.
5. Get some hands-on time with the equipment.

I'm not sure that Op. Shader return movements will be generally available in advance, but I suspect it will be fairly soon. Possibly you can check the virtual radar sites and the FC 'Heads-up & OTT' section for tanker and Tornado plots from the Med. Paul I'd have thought the end of Tornado Ops woul...
