Nice report.

Your Islander and Defender marks are incorrect. They are R1 and R2.

Re: Preserved Lynx

Noted this last Friday prior to RIAT, all over blue colour scheme with a reddish orange and black wavey cheatline. Almost looked like a german flag banner from nose to tail. It is at outside, facing towards the REME Museum. Has anyone managed to 100% identify it yet? Many thanks. Reportedly QP32 ht...

Is ZJ922/QO-C (BS013) still stored at Warton.
Haven't see any reports of it elsewhere so...
be very surprised if/when it ever returns to Sqn service!
cheers
ZJ922 was removed from the active fleet a number of years ago.

Middle East in East Anglia, 29th July 2019

I decided to take a gamble and try to get both the delayed Qatari C-130J arrival at Cambridge, and the RSAF F-15SA delivery into Lakenheath. It was a nervous wait trying to work out the prospective arrival times of both as the Herk droned up across France, whilst leaving enough time to drive up the ...

Re: RIAT German Lynx C/N

On touchdown I saw a list of C/N for some of the aircraft at RIAT Lynx 83+10 was read off as C/n 429 , I probably originally saw that serial as C/n 266. Does anyone on here know how much of the original Cab is retained or is 83+10 a completely different aircraft? Ta It is a totally different cab

Bastille Day 2019

Weather was dull, overcast, with very low cloud. It was my first time at this event, and I came back with mixed feelings. Fantastic numbers, not overly happy with pictures, though the weather did not help. The flypast ones were taken from the Nanterre district. 01. http://www.wattisham.org.uk/images...

Re: Current RAF aircraft

What with low numbers and so few types of aircraft. What would happen if a fault was found with one type and had to be grounded? Would there be suitable aircraft to take up the slack. The typhoon for example. If that was grounded would the F-35 being are only other frontline fighter be able to take...

You may get a better response if your quoted date made some sense.
probably right slip of the finger date is 29-July-2019
Which is still at least 3 weeks into the future!
