Re: Sweden selects C-390

I suspect OGMA in Portugal will do this, as they already do for C-130s. OGMA are owned by Embraer, and build parts for the C-390

Sweden selects C-390

Sweden has signed a letter of intent with Brazil to purchase C-390s to replace their C-130 fleet. So that means that Marshall will be losing The Netherlands, Austria and now Sweden as C-130 customers in the coming years. With the new US facility taking the USMC work and nothing so far having come of...

Austrian 8T-CC due out 10.00 tomorrow
Dutch G-781 due out 12.50 tomorrow
Both according to RadarBox, so usual caveats apply.

Danish C-130J B-538 arrived this afternoon, followed shortly afterwards by CL-604 C-172 (presumably as crew ferry).

AFAIK not at a UK airshow! Your question asked "at an air show before?" to which the answer is yes. ;) Central European events such as Zeltweg have certainly featured it previously. I'm reasonably sure that the other 3 Stateside flying examples will have previously flown at airshows over there, alt...

Re: More of everybodies favourite....

Which is all well and good, but the numbers simply don’t add up. Once the 30 or so remaining Tranche 1 aircraft are retired (and the Qatari funding for XII Sqn comes to an end) there’re simply won’t be enough jets to go around (just over 100) for 7 frontline squadrons, the Falklands flight (1435), a...

Did I hear that one of the Indian Hercs may go to Cambridge for maintenance at the beginning of March with the other acting as a crew bus?
When did Marshall’s start doing maintenance for the Indian AF? I’ve not seen any such announcement :S
