BBF Spifire TE311
I heard the aircraft fly over my house in Doncaster around 11.15 this morning. Tracked it on FlightRadar24 and it was heading for the Sheffield area. Just been on the BBF site, but there is no info on it's flight, so wondered if anyone had any details they can share with me please? Cheers...

Re: Eat Sleep RIAT Repeat
Absolutely beautiful set of photographs, really cannot praise them enough. As I looked through them though, I couldn't help but ask the question, "Why on earth did we get rid of our Harriers?"

Re: Lockheed Martin Press photo
Great photograph, but I'm so glad that you've expressed what I've been thinking for some time now, the F-35 is one of the ugliest aircraft I've ever seen! I'm not even convinced that it will perform that well in combat, but let's all hope that it'll never have to prove that to us.

Re: A few hours at Lakenheath
I'm so envious, super shots. If I drove down to Lakenheath (I live in South Yorkshire) next Friday what are my chances of seeing them too?

Last Flight
It's Friday, but no specified time of day, so as to avoid disruption of the Airport. It's just going to take off and fly around for 15 minutes.....
It'll be a sad day that's for sure.

Re: Lightnings-six of the best .
Great photographs and it brings back many good memories of Finningley Airshows. The Lightning was always a 'star-performer' to me! I've also learned something new today i.e. Lightnings were based at Leconfield, so thank-you for that.

Tony.

Church Fenton Display
Left York on the 16.33 to Kings X and as we got close to the former RAF base at Church Fenton, I noticed much activity on the surrounding roads. Then suddenly I saw the object of their interest a low flying Vulcan bomber with 'bomb-bay' open, banking around to display over the airfield. For one mome...

Can I ask how you managed to find out about their arrival. I guess you're going to tell me that it was posted on this site. If so, I'm going to have to become a more regular reader!
Thanks,
Tony.

Re: 10 days in the Cotswolds - Large Post
They are definitely some of the best Photographs I've seen on this site. Can you give me a little more info on how you used 'Photo-Shop' to give them that kind of 'sinister' quality (I mean that in a good way). Absolutely amazing stuff, well done.....

Re: Waddington Rehearsal
Thanks Tim..... I was listening to Radio Lincoln last week and one of their commentators was reporting from 'The Wave', which I know to be the car park across the road from Waddington's runway. She was talking to an enthusiast, who was describing the different aircraft types flying over RAF Waddingt...

Waddington Rehearsal
Guys, Am I going mad or is it just my age? I love the photographs that you guys post, so after hearing about the rehearsal at RAF Waddington I fully expected to find lots of glorious pictures to enjoy, but so far haven't found a single one! Hope you can help an aged military aviation fan. A clue to ...
