We've been fortunate enough to be on the hills in the Lake District twice when a USAF C-17 has dropped by, great to see a large aircraft low.

Slightly off topic but in a similar vein, I'm a volunteer with Mountain Rescue England Wales and I'm always happy that EVERYONE is a volunteer, we don't have paid CEOs/admin staff like a lot of other charities.
