Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread
If that's true then DBH have a new favourite individual... Bit strange that they cancel sending half a squadron within a few hours of flying time, but are happy to send a couple of airframes the other side of Europe on a non Farnborough year. Hmmmmm. Ignoring the fact they didn't do Paris-though the...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread
Edit, Red Eye Knight/Gary not on the ball today... Mr Knight is having an enforced break from the forum again (i'm sure he's reading this.. Naughty boy you won't learn). I was in bed, just finished my 6th, 12 hour night shift  I haven't rushed to look at the update this year. The AN-74 is bril...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread

On a less cheerful note, BBMF Dakota and Danish F-16BM (static) cancelled.
I wonder if Night Fright will be ready by then, bearing in mind they were hoping to make it to last years show...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread
This week, we’re very excited to welcome a new nation to RIAT this year! We can confirm that the Egyptian Air Force will be joining us at RAF Fairford next month as our 59th nation with their Antonov An-74T Coaler on the static line up! More additions to the static line up come from the Royal Nether...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread
Shame the Coaler isn't flying, but what a catch. Great update for the static displays.
Also a shame the AAC demo is Friday only, as Duxford this weekend is now more or less the only full show to have it
Edit, Red Eye Knight/Gary not on the ball today...

Re: F1 2025
It’s not like it was an all or nothing place to gain…there were other opportunities and places, and laps left on the board. He chose the one that simply wasn’t on. He should’ve waited. He should have gone for the inside. He had a good enough run to lay a claim into turn 2. As to whether it would ha...

Re: F1 2025
Could someone explain how that would/will be applied? The next race, or to the Canadian one? :S I believe they can add it to the next race, presumably it would have to be at the first pit stop. That is not the case. It was added to his race time (he was still classified as he completed the majority...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread
I can't recall ever seeing a Bulgarian MiG-21 at RIAT. The Romanian ones were most welcome though!

Re: F1 2025
Why should he have left a car’s width? Wasn’t even alongside :S Again AFAIA, it's the rules. Red Bull have lodged a complaint against Russell due to “Erratic braking” under the Safety Car - Which to be fair he did almost come to a complete stop. And wonder boy was playing his 'let's get right along...

Re: F1 2025
AFAIA, the rules say you are supposed to leave a cars width. Plus the golden rule is you don't hit your team mate. They've both got to take the blame for that one. Potentially ruined the end of a pretty dull race!

Iran reporting to have shot down at least 2 Israeli aircraft. Let's see if they can put some proof where their big mouths are.

Re: RAF Cosford Air Show 2025
As suspected F-35B flypast confirmed. Can't help but wonder if that would have been announced had today's leak/cancellation not happened... Yes it was always planned along with the now cancelled Rafale display later at 4pm I meant was it always going to be announced, instead of being a surprise on ...

Re: RAF Cosford Air Show 2025
Another surprise announcement at 8pm. Think they might have dropped the ball already on this one though
