Re: The Ukraine Situation
If the Kremlin or anyone else have evidence of these alleged crimes on either side they have the right to the international courts. The Soviet have the blood of 11 million Kulak’s on those hands. What’s happening now is despicable and completely out of all proportion. Unless it’s all made up TV for...

Re: Notam 09 10 20
Many thanks. Any idea whether its configuration has been brought up to that of 68-10337, ie with Span pod, etc? Perhaps not a good idea to go into because that will alert the other side as to its capability - some thing that isn't on Flight Plans! If 'The other side', whoever that may be, wanted to...

Assume that's just a rumour. No bird strike was reported and it appeared that the rear of the left stabilator had delaminated

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2018 Discussion Thread
This was our first year in the FRIAT enclosure partly as a reward to my 16 year old son for his hard work in the run up to his GCSE's and partly for my father in recovery from cancer. We stayed from Tuesday until the Monday departures and although we left knackered, we had an absolutely amazing boy...

Typical. Im still 50/50 about tomorrow. B-2 would have swung it. On a related note, is there ANYWHERE crowd centre where the public can get to the crowdline for photos that isnt in a private enclosure? That was the main killer i found for images, anything around that area i failed to get as couldnt...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2018 Discussion Thread
In 1997 it was the 50th anniversary of the USAF with the Golden Air Tattoo at Nellis. The RAF sent a VC10 with two Tornados, plus Spitfire AB910 was air-freighted out there I believe in a C-130. Paul Day's display was exceptional and stole the show. It would not therefore be inappropriate to hope t...

Highly doubt it’s the sort of thing that would be made into an April fools joke, plus the article was posted this evening as opposed to this morningPen Pusher wrote:You do know what the date is?

i'd heard that one of these had just come from Marshalls after a glass cockpit refit & thence to Brunt for disposal could be wrong........... Yep! There was a plan to convert the whole RAF 'antique' Fleet to Glass Cockpits, but IIRC the certification & qualification effort that would be required wa...

Re: New Red Arrows order. Sign here please
Find some of the posts on here regarding the reds and their purpose very interesting. For some people, it seems like the only purpose of an aircraft is to log it or take a photo of it. The Red Arrows exist far beyond that of a recruitment tool for the present time and their presence overseas clearly...
