Re: Top Gun inside the RAF C4
Great PR but i would prefer to see more propaganda about shortages and the need to re arm the RAF ASAP. Giving billions to Ukraine is barmy if our defences are in such a perilous position. F35 deliveries are a glacial pace. There is talk of the early Typhoons going, even though they are surely a mat...

This administration couldn't run a bath.
Practically every other country that ordered F35s after the UK has now over taken us in terms of deliveries.

Drones over Lakenheath, Mildenhall, Feltwell
As the last bastion of free speech is nobody else concerned about this and indeed Storm Shadow being used from Ukraine ? Surely that ICBM coming the other way was a warning? We are playing Billy Big Boots but have zero defensive shield, an Army with no men, an Air Force with barely any serviceable a...

Re: Cobra Warrior 23
No idea how one dept within the RAF thinks the Indians are coming whilst another doesn't unless there is confusion with their deployment last year which was scrubbed based on the Russian situation. Nothings changed so who knows ?

Nope the Indians were planned in but diplomatic niceties got in the way. Late cancellation and confirmed from official sources within the MOD.

Re: Queen's Funeral visitors thread.
Must confess i too suspect there would be a few raised eyebrows from the various Heads of Government if they feel they have to share a bus.
I would think the respective security agencies won't wear that.

Page Verify Excellent to get a financial perspective. I'm glad it's not just me which is a bit puzzled by the heavyweight board ? I'm sure it was never like this when the monies went direct to The RAF Benevolent Fund who incidentally provide not 1 but a whopping 37 pages of financial analysis and on...

Glastonbury just been scrubbed.

Appreciate RIAT is not as compressed as this event but does share some similar challenges, the organisation at Glastonbury have sadly conceded defeat.

I hate to broach this but I do wonder who is paying all the fixed costs? Furloughed staff will be paid by government but there must be costs coming out of what is surely the charitable funds ? Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2021 - General Discussion Thread
I don't see any prospect of RIAT 2021 happening. I hope I'm wrong but I dont think there is a cat in hells chance of any large events taking place. I cannot see air crew being allowed to go and the logistics on the ground will be a nightmare. 1500 volunteers are involved in RIAT, time is given up wi...
