10.00L Friday 2 Wildcats went up the M6 Pass. I think the Apaches, from ADS-B on Wednesday were Hunter 1 ZM710, Hunter 2 ZM701, Hunter 3 ZM716 & Hunter 4 ZM720. These were paired with Wildcats ZZ511 & ZZ391 as per your note. I'm guessing that ZM710 might be the one you didn't see as this showed on A...

There were two Hawks working the North Lakes around that time, I saw the Hawks cross Ullswater towards Buttermere just after two: Cutless 01 & 02. ADS-B gave Cutless 01 as ZK020 & Cutless 02 as ZK037

I’m sure I remember a trailer being dropped from a Wessex at the Woodford Airshow in the early 1980s

14:40 Friday - Pair of F18s south down the Lune Valley - guess they are inbound into the Lakes

There is a WWII Control Tower that was moved brick by brick, from the UK, at the Virginia Beach Military Aviation Museum. When visited three years ago it was being reassembled. Our otherwise very knowledgeable guide wasn’t sure exactly where it came from.
