Re: Runway and other Upgrades
So that's spring 2020 for the runway works at Lossie with the P-8's coming to Kinloss first with all the infrastructure complete and ground services at Lossie with busses to Kinloss. Boy the MOD do like to do things the hard (expensive) way? Oh, and did you hear the one about the Reds moving to Loss...

Angels 27 - watched him come from the north west and actually heard him in the cave. 27.000' and I heard him - awesome.

This is indeed an old Italeri rebox by Revell of the GR1 which I see you've updated to GR4.

Re: Runway and other Upgrades
Well it's a fact that rumours of the hump removal have been doing the rounds for some time, as has the many published details of a new control tower and the strengthening/widening of the northern taxyway and of course the other rumour that the taxyway is staying as it is and all the large aircraft h...

Re: P3 Inverness
Yes, it was 140103 on a training sortie doing approaches at Leuchars, Lossie, Inverness, Wick and Stornoway. Of course it overflew Lossie at 5,000 feet.

Re: View/photography
Have a look here (clicky) - slightly out of date but the main thing is bring a small stepladder or steps for the new fences, especially if you're short in stature. Fridays they usually close early and Wednesday is sports day. Mondays tend to be a late 10-11am) start. Other than that there's usually ...

Cracking set chap and good to at least catch up once if only for a short while. I've no real favourite but the prop blur on the Citation is spot on

Re: Scotnight 2018
Trying to organise another (sadly less frequent) visit to Lossie for the end of the week, and I'm hoping to catch the Swiss. Tomorrow looks like a bust - weather seems likely to deteriorate pretty badly toward the afternoon/evening - so I'm looking at the 30th. Have they been carrying out any after...

Re: Hellenic Air Force Patron Days Nov18
Stunning set Scott from a frustrating trip. The Phantom stands out because..... well, it's a Toom but I particularly like the toppled fire extinguisher behind the F-16D at Mira. The Mira F-4E extinguisher is a tad newer though

Re: Long lonesome long haul to Lossiemouth!
Cracking set and well worth the drive. Pic 10 in the golden glow is a stunner. You'll be pleased to know that although some of the great Lossie light has been around, there's been nothing like that first few days of Ex ScotNight.
