Staverton, 2 x AH64

Two Apaches sighted on approach from M5 approx 1615, stopped by on return journey and both parked up on the apron at 1715.
Sadly it’s pitch black!

U2 Youtube Docu

Lots of documentaries out there of course, but always interesting to have something new on in the background when working.

Re: NOTAM 12/11/2020
I live in Stratford, very close to the centre of town and he/she passed directly overhead..travelling N/NE I would estimate, hope that helps :thumb:
Ah yes, I was going to mention you might be able to add more Pune, so seems pretty solid, 0836/0837 directly over Stratford. Interest...

Re: NOTAM 12/11/2020

I was just compiling the info; yes, 0837 is the correct time, possibly 0836. From experience, this is my typical field of view from that location, as he was high above the horizon I would estimate him to be inside the inner field of view. When I said 'Stratford', it was a general stab, but actually ...

Re: NOTAM 12/11/2020

Just barely enough of a zoom on my 250mm lens to get an ID, along with conspicuous absence of traffic in the vicinity on ADSB sites. Still working on getting PlanePlotter working on a Raspberry Pi for Mode A For info - taken from our garden (FC Lockdown position and all that). https://live.staticfli...

Re: Staverton 19/10/2020

Have you tried using the new playback feature of FlightRadar24?
Also, check the Castle Air and Bristow fleets, they are two of the big heli operators out of Gloucestershire Airport.

Landed 09, I prefer the relative peace and quiet of the north gate at 09 end, but today rolled the dice for 27 and got it wrong!

Currently on a job in Swindon 25 minutes away. Hopefully I can get it wrapped up before lunchtime.

Re: NOTAM - 15/09/20 - U-2 Movements

A slightly wider turn after Shawbury than usual? I was under the impression most Brize/FFD traffic on this route normally turns to go direct over Worcester after Shawbury, but I appreciate I may be wrong.

Re: Planes doing circuits tonight

AE29D2 C30J Hercules is part of a 3 ship, along with STRIX62 and STRIX63 which is a possible candidate as he is showing circuits on ADSBExchange, although neither STRIX are showing circuits.

I’ve just been told that Big Jet TV was there today.
Actually quite a good video on YT, promising to be back next week to broadcast.

From look of video parked on verge?
