Already back in may, a BHT (Basic Helicopter Training) with Dutch marines was done at the GLV-V. The record amount of rain fall since last summer has turned the area into a mud-pit. Volkel indeed was slow on wednesday (was there too in the morning), something called hindsight would have told you to go on tuesday, which saw 7 F-16's flying in the afternoon.
