It was 484, just departed as RSF2257.

12/12 10:00 outside southside are Typhoons ZR523/QA422 (grey not primer) and ZK355.

Birdstrike. Deployed chute on landing.

Wed 17th. RIAT spotter sheet is showing Qatari Typhoon from Warton is scheduled to land Fairford 14:30L.

Friday 26 April ZJ937 10:00am parked outside southside.

5 April. ZJ700 arrived downwind over the Ribble from the estuary, then short finals and straight in to land R25 at 11:30.

22 March: both Typhoons came straight in to land R25, ZK303 at 15:32, ZJ700 30 sec later.

10:15 ZR519/QA418 outside southside.

25/8 11:00am outside southside are ZR514/QA413 and ZR518 (latter in primer).

4/8 09:25 ZR514/QA413 outside southside while ZR513/QA412 was being pushed back into the hangar.

10:00am ZR515/QA414 southside in front of hangars, but no activity around it.

No, in the end I couldn't face another long drive after getting home from RIAT. Weather forecast not too good either. Maybe next time!

Update... Qatari Typhoon took off from Fairford 12:24 Tarnish15.

Spotters crib sheet at Fairford park and view says the Qatari Typhoon is scheduled to leave at 11:36L.

12 noon C-130 loading and fuelling.

I got to the WAVE at 8.35am today and I noticed that the gate was closed to new arrivals less than five minutes later. However lots of cars were already parked on the old dispersal at the fire training centre - I've no idea how easy that was, or whether people were behaving themselves! I was at the ...

ZK356 appeared as WTN17 on FR24. So I assume the pilot was Tarnish17... a new test pilot on the block? The practice approach at Liverpool Airport was unusual, not something Tarnish10 or Tarnish15 normally does.

Typhoon fin code was 320 with 1 Sqn markings (read from photo), so I assume it was ZK320.
